Our deepest condolences for the loss of Rino Zandonai, director of the Trentini nel Mondo All the Circoli Trentini of Australia and all the Trentini and their descendants in Australia would like to express and convey their deepest and sincerest condolences to the families of Rino Zandonai, director of the Associazione Trentini nel Mondo as well as his travelling companions Giovanni Battista Lenzi, Provincial Counsellor of Trentino and Luigi Zortea, Mayor of Canal San Bovo (Valle del Vanoi, Trentino). We would like to convey our deepest sympathies to their families, and all other families who have lost loved ones in the Air France flight AF447, including 7 other Italians, 3 of which were Alto-Atesini (in total 10 Italians on the flight). All 3 were passengers on the Air France flight AF447 travelling from Rio de Janeiro to Paris, after having recently participated in recent events with the Trentini community in Brazil for the presentation of funds contributed by Trentini for various solidarity projects, and assistance for those affected by the recent flooding in Brazil. From all the Trentini in Australia, our deepest and sincerest condolences. We have been asked to remember Rino on what would have been his upcoming birthday, June 28 with a moment of silence or prayer at 7 pm your local time.
